YHWH made Leviathan to sport in the sea (Psalm 104:26) but I guess Leviathan's now playing in Jimmy Novak's body. Creepy.

I'm hoping that they make a mention somewhere along the line that Jimmy is somewhere lovely now, perhaps reliving some favorite times with his family while he waits for them to join him.

I have to admit, the idea of God In A Trenchcoat makes me cackle. It's just so...incongruous, particularly on a stained-glass window.

You know that when I finally get round to writing that book on the portrayal of Christianity and 'Good and Evil' in pop culture SPN is going to be my primary case study. Because the way it both plays with and seriously explores my faith is just amazing. Poor Cas trying to be God and failing so badly! Not so easy to be a micro-managing interventionist God!
