Creamy soda meaning a spyder (ice cream float/soda where I come from)?

We don't have a Red Rooster near us. They took it away about 10 years ago.

Thank for playing, RevDoc.

Creamy soda meaning a vanilla-flavoured soft drink. Insanely sweet and something I try to avoid nowadays because of the mad sugar content, but every-so-often it's exactly what I need.

BTW, I love your new layout! :D
I read Lord of the Rings while doing a Summer Scholarship that had really repetitive jobs with ten minute waits in between. ;p

1. What would your dream job be (if you're not already doing it)?

2. What do you do when you're procrastinating?

3. Which fictional character did you have a crush on as a teenager? (And in the interests of equal disclosure, mine would be Dr Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) in Quantum Leap.

4. What was the last book you read and was it any good?

5. What do you hope to be doing in ten years?

sorry for the elay...
1) making soap. Or mead. Or beekeepign and making mead!

2) I read fiction. and I chat with friends online.

3) Illya Kuryakin from Man from Uncle. Sam Beckett was cute but not as cute as Illya. *grins*
David Bowie as Jareth, the goblin king in Labyrinth was a very very close second.

4) Lats book i read was 'beekeeping in western canada...and very good!'

5) Gainfully unemployed, with an acreage, living a life that is simple and wholesome and out of the rat race.

Ooh, I love the idea of beekeeping and mead-making. Very medieval monastry! I'll have to now google Illya Kuryakin, although I doubt he can outdo Sam Beckett in cuteness.

Okey-dokey, random questions are go.

1. What's the best thing about living in Wales?

2. What is your favourite thing to cook?

3. Do you have a 'comfort' tv show or film, and if so what is it and why? (I know that's three questions, but anyway ...)

4. What's your favourite book of the Bible, if you have one?

5. What colour do you wear most often?

Ah, another wearer of red! Me too, except when I wear what's known in Melbourne as "Brunswick Street Black". Apparently some foreign visitors to Melbourne think that someone important has died and the entire city is in mourning - black tends to be Melburnians base and default colour.

Glad that the job's going well and you're getting lots of affirmation. I'm going through a bit of a trough, thinking that I was much better as a college chaplain than I am as a congregational minister. I either need to snap myself out of that, or start seriously looking for another placement. I'll see how long the "down" lasts.

The Archers? That's the program that's been on longer than you and I have been alive, right?
