oooh, hon. I'm sorry. I grew up Church of Christ. They preach that subservience as well. I will never forget being in a sunday school class where our teacher was a woman, we were in about the third grade then so women were still allowed to teach us, and some of the boys started quoting those verses in the bible about subservience and they pretty much looked at us girls and told us our jobs were to shut up and obey. And out teach didn't say a Thing! I think that was the moment in my life that I started saying that No man would rule over me! Unfortunately, I did allow it at one point. Well, never again.
I'm so very thankful that we live in America where you and I have the right to be vocal about how wrong the notion of women always having to be subservient to men is!
