Assignment II-9

Apr 03, 2007 01:44

Like most stories, there are three great divisions of our lives: the First, or opening period, finds us groping to find our true nature; at the same time, we are trying to cope with the powerful forces that are present in our environment, our parents and the socio-economic conditions of our family, for example. The Second Cycle, or middle period of our lives, brings about the slow emergence of our individual and creative talents. The initial part of this cycle - the early and mid 30s - represents a struggle to find our place in the world, while the late 30s, 40s, and early 50s, sees us with a greater degree of self-mastery and influence over the environment. The Third, or final Cycle, can represent a flowering of our inner being, such that our true nature has finally come to fruition. It is during this period that one has the greatest degree of self-expression and power.

Your Period Cycles are based on your date of birth. The exact age you make the transition from one Period Cycle to the next is determined by your Life Path, and is listed in the chart below. (Remember, the rule is that your second Period Cycle always starts with the 1 Personal Year closest to your 29th Birth Date.)

Here is the wave that shows Harry Potter's 1st Life Cycle:

The purple strip at the bottom is the period cycle. Where it ends and the next strip begins is the age at which the period cycle ends. Harry Potter's first period cycle is 7. The period cycle length (or life path number) is determined by adding up the numbers in your birthday:

Remember the all powerful star? Add up all those numbers and you come up with the life path number:

Here is your assignment:

Look up 5 people. Find what their birthday is and calculate their life path number. Then look at the chart above and tell me when their first period cycle ends and their second one begins. Then do the same for the second to third period cycle. Look up the period cycle numbers on the chart at CHA and write a paragraph paraphrasing each cycle. REMEMBER: The first period cycle is the month number, the second cycle is the day number (reduced of course) and the third is the year number (obviously reduced). Here are the things you need to report for each person:
• Full Name at birth
• Birthday
• Life Path Number
• Month, Day, and Year numbers.
• Paraphrase on each cycle.

Each segment is worth 5 points, except the paraphrase. It is worth 10 points per paraphrase. That makes each person worth 30 points. Total Possible: 150 Points. Standard rules for grammar apply.
