The first 2 hour delay of the season! These are fine. Extra time in the morning yet another day is not tagged on to the end of the year.

They delay or cancel school for the slightest inclimate weather. Far cry from growing up in Vermont. Right Fayespike! They NEVER canceled school for snow or freezing rain!

Holy Lord, i remember when over a foot and a half dropped one night and they didn't cancel because they knew the road crews would have it clear by morning. And the bus drivers up there were amazing! Some mornings after freezing rain they maneuvered those big hulks like they were dainty ice scatters. Glad ya got some time to breathe in the morning:) Oh, do people down there believe in winter tires? I see so many people trying to do 65 mph on 128 in freezing rain and snow with summer tires. They're crazy stupid! (Not that that surprises me at all around here)

After the day I had, I would have liked to have spent this afternoon at home with a cup of hot chocolate while seated in my armchair, wrapped in a fleece blanket while one or both of my cats sat in my lap. At least I got my wish by 7pm, although I substituted Magic Hat's Fat Angel for hot chocolate.
