Can you tell me a little bit about your process behind creating these recent pieces? They look like maybe you ink traditionally and do digital after, but some of the colored elements look traditionally too. What're you doing? It's cool!

thanks! all these recent pieces are created in the chibipaint applet hosted on 2draw.net: http://2draw.net/view/118327/

it's just a light drawing applet that works with tablets, (I have an old grapphire) so I can get a serviceable line out of it. My home laptop isn't all that powerful, so working in this small manner works out pretty well for me, when football is on I have the applet up and draw during boring parts and commercials (95% of football, lol) and I can save my work and come back to it later, even when I am moving around to different computers (work/home) which I do a lot. I love to draw in these applets, even though I know it doesn't leave much afterlife for the work - too small to print, etc. But I think the practice helps anyway... most importantly, it's fun!

Cool! Thanks for the exposé! I'll have to check that applet out.
