Writer's Block: Long Nights, Short Poems

Dec 21, 2008 19:03

Snow on the horizon,
cliched shades of purest white;
freezing winter air.

In true Bostonian style, I'm treating "on the" as a single syllable. We trip over the two words so quickly, neither can be considered a single syllable by themselves; they barely form a syllable in tandem to be perfectly honest.

haiku, solstice, writer's block, poetry
