Hair incident

So, it turns out that if, say, you take a bath with some olive oil in it to keep your skin from drying out, and then you do a somewhat indifferent job of washing your hair afterward, you may not actually wash out all the oil that your hair obligingly soaked out of the bath.

Tell you what, even when I was a teenager, I was not this oily.

I've had this problem too! Oh it is so gross to feel so slimey, and then you just can't stop touching your hair.

One trick my mom taught me is to get a little spray spritz bottle and fill it with baby oil (seems like generic stuff works better than the Johnson & Johnson). Keep the spray bottle in the shower and spritz yourself all over while you're still wet, rub it in, then towel off. The bottle mists better when you keep it full, it gets a little weak when it is half empty. I've had really good luck with this!

Happened to me once when I gave my hair a treatment with mayo to moisturize it. Mayo requires two washings afterwards.
