Cross country trek from Florida was completed with the minimal amount of difficulty. The worst that could be said was that the GPS directed me away from my original route so the planned stops in Sturgis and Deadwood did not happen on the trip out ( Read more... )

It's going to be a busy few days around here, first on the agenda is finishing the move into my new place. I want to thank my gracious hosts for allowing me to crash at their house while I looked for new employment and for a more permanent place to stay. Well I guess that is a wrap on the Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes universe. Damn what a way to ring it out many things wrapped up and a unexpected twist or two. Not really sure I really got the Keats character, but he was enjoyable.

Life in Charlesland continues apace, subtle differences between 2009 and 2010 have begun to appear and this makes me a happy camper. Chief among them is starting to get out of the apartment, last weekend was Emerald Rose, before that was a Steampunk gathering and of course Gaelic Storm.
