Oh my, yes! I didn't expect to love this movie. It's a prison movie! But by the time the ending rolled around, I was gone.:)

I know. I didn't expect to love it so much either but I did. It's truly one of the best films ever, IMO. The rare occasion when a film is actually better than the short story its based on.
