Damien LOVES swimming. We live on a lake, and all last summer all he wanted to do was go in the water. If the classes are expensive, just buy her a little tube thing, and go to the local lake or pool (i dunno what you have there)
A good way to get her used to going underwater is to blow on her face, then dip her head under real quick. Shes old enough now to understand *holding your breath* after a few tries. Damien did last summer.
