Oh sweetie I'm so sorry. You're worth so much more than a match, but I know just the sanity of getting out of where you are now would have been worth it.

((( You ))
I would have taken a pay cut to save my sanity, the problem is that this would have been a MAJOR pay cut. Like, 10k. I couldn't afford it and keep our house.
I am so having a bitter moment...

How much of a reduction would you need to take?

Ten thousand. Way too much, as we are struggling even at my current pay.

Oh yes, absolutely. If it'd had been one or two thousand even, that might possibly have been worth it for much heightened job satisfaction, but that much, no way :-(

Whats sad is that the salary I asked them to meet was ALREADY 2 thousand less than what I make.
I am sad. :-(

WTF to the bagels on the titties comment. Uh, sexual harassment? I would've kicked his ass.

Not fair. You DEFINITELY don't deserve to be in that situation. It completely sucks that they couldn't match your pay.

*hugs*

That kind of sexual bull shit is common place at the court. It is so common place that most of us don't even notice it. In fact, it is only because an outside persone noticed it and brought it to my attention that I notice it now. For years, those kinds of comments just went in one ear and out the other.
