Merry Christmas and Happy Yuletide! I am still alive! Okay, so, I realize I am waaaay behind on well, life in general, and the documentation thereof, but I had to say something about my (four!! You crazy awesome people, you!) Yuletide fics because they are marvelous and also because I am worried no one will see them, partially because they're all ( Read more... )

Also, I am totally guessing that morbane wrote this for me. If so, thank you!! If not, well, take this as a compliment - I do take it as a compliment. And the gentlest and most flattering of suggestions: I should probably write something else for you some day. It was not this day, though.

(And if I had written for you in James Tiptree Jr.'s canon, possibly the problems of canonisation you are having right now would be slightly different. I'm sorry this has happened. The choices we ask people to make during tag nominations, while occasionally weird, should be weird in ways that make tag finding easier later on, being in the same language of weirdness as larger wrangling policy. I'll see if I can follow this up.)

Hee. It wasn't really meant as a suggestion? (Although certainly I wouldn't mind it!) More that it reminded me a lot of that lovely SF fic you wrote me for Jukebox. Which just goes to show me that there are lots of great writers in Yuletide <3

(Would it make sense at all to somehow sync the tag to Tiptree - Works? I mean, it's really the tag they all belong under (well, okay, the podcast one really belongs under RPF)... I could comment to all three to ask them to add that tag, if it would help.)

I'm not sure. When I say I want to look into it, that mostly means asking individuals. And there are fewer individuals lately who serve as both Yuletide tagmods and AO3 wranglers. That would be my wonder too - except that usually, tags like TIPTREE - Works aren't designed in the first instance for individual works - they're meant to gather together similar works. Argh.
