In case you haven't already been informed, here are some tips:

1. To make a link to somebody's username, use the LJ tag, usernamehere. For example, "jamminrants" results in: "jamminrants2. An "LJ Cut" refers to text that is hidden behind a link when viewed on a Friends page. There are roughly 4 reasons to do a cut ( ... )

By the way, how did you type the HTML for the username tags and LJ cuts without having them turn into the actual links? I always see people do something like this: "type (lj-cut text="whatever") and replace the parentheses with carrots" or something.
