She felt it in her gut first, just a slight burn at the beginning of the Sanctified meeting.  She hadnt been this warm since she got that fever as a child and defied the doctors prognosis that she would not only not be able to walk but she would be struck deaf and dumb... defiance, yes it is what she does again.

Unconsciously she fans herself as she ( Read more... )

it was far more amazing then I expected. The Reactions, the ripples... I just hope that everyone else enjoyed the scene too.

Thank you for including us darlin. As for Magdalena...she is indeed needed now more than ever.

It was a great story and I'm glad to have seen it front to back. :)

Wow. I am very glad I got to read this. As I said the other night, this filled in some vital holes to the story. And poor, strong Charli. What a lovely and painful end. The last line is, by far, the perfection of the story. The read was good, but it didn't hit home until "I no longer drink of your children... I only drink of your son Jesus Christ." I don't think there could have been a better ending.

Always good to look back on old war stories and old characters. Though it's usually in bitter sweet longing. The chronicle was lucky to have known her, I'm sad I never quite got the chance!

But new stories to tell.
