I've had a scratchy throat with lots of throat-clearing and a bit of coughing...for a few days now--but not much else....allergies? I'm not allergic to anything, I think.....

The little red spots on the back of your tongue could just be your taste buds looking agitated from all the hot green tea and brushings. Try a chamomile tea and don't drink it too-too hot or else it'll just make them more swollen. Also, stay away from stuff with too much salt or oily food.

Also...you could just be crazy about your back taste buds and they've always been there. To be honest most people never notice the large red spots that are really just the larger taste buds at the back of the throat for a long time. You may just have a sore throat and realized for the first time while you're looking back there how big your back taste buds are. Give it a few more days and try not to agitate unnecessarily your back taste buds.

Good call on the Chamomile, Jessica. But more importantly, where do you get those BSG icons? They're brilliant!
