We've had a bit of excitement that started on early Friday morning.  I slept through it of course but my youngest and my husband felt the ground shake. Yes, it was a 5.2 earthquake.  Around 10 am there was a nice big aftershock and then later at about a quarter to 2pm.  I felt the first aftershock but not the second. Apparently, there was another

The epicenter is about 125 miles from here as the crow flies. It really wasn't that bad...I've slept through most of it! My best friend lives closer to the fault line and she says that they have one or two a year that you can feel.
When I was in grade school (after the 84 quake), we did earthquake drills because the prediction was that the big one would be here by the 90's...oops they missed! LOL!!
As for tornados....ick....we don't like those. So far there hasn't been any this year but they are coming.....

Apparently they were felt here too. I had no clue, hubby ask me what rock I was under. O.o

Don't feel bad....I didn't know we were having an aftershock until one of my coworkers asked me if I felt it. I was sitting down and had a headache so I thought that I was just feeling dizzy....nope...wasn't me at all!!!!
