I decided today that my shoes are too tight

can you imagine what the view is like from your feet,

all my toes are hidden in black and left to absorb a world that it was borne into.

I decided today to revolt against the world... I'll wear only socks.

I'll slide around on freshly waxed floors and enjoy the synthetic warmth.

Soon my once white socks

I wish I could write poetry. So I hear you're finally going to bust out some sandals this summer. Way to go! ^_^ And by the way, I think the Silver Surfer does suit you if you read WHY you're the S.S. yup yup yup yup, yup yup.

Now that i read this over again... I realize why I wrote it... I think it has more to do with "the walk" (no pun intended)... how a lot of us may act differently around different "shoes".

the shoe is the world, the sock is my self righteousness, and without both I bare myself... but then the world comes back and I put it on...
