I'm TERRIFIED of nuts!!!

I'm DEADLY allergic to peanuts.. O_o" So severely that if I were to ingest even a microscopic portion, [and don't make it to a hospital in time] my heart will stop within an hour.. of course, that's if I haven't suffocated first.

That would be so shitty being allergic to nuts...well for me it would be. I am an avid nut person. I don't eat meat so I get my nutrients from nuts.

It does indeed suck.. If you read the ingredients listed [on the majority of packaging], 'may contain traces of nuts' is practically guaranteed to be displayed. I ignore it now as otherwise I wouldn't be able to eat anything - but there's always that risk. I can't eat Thai food as it's cooked in peanut oil. It's a challenge asking about ingredients while out [especially when staff don't speak english]..

before i started uni i didnt know anyone that was allergic to nuts

now i know at least a dozen.

thats almost enough to start "Allergic to NUTsoc"

I'm supposed to carry around a needle of adrenalin at all times.. however, they expire every 2-3 months and cost $300+ each. O_o"
