Sing it sister! And Bob's right... don't let her get to you. She may have problems but it's not right for her to take them out on you. It makes a lot of sence though, your mom being raised in foster care. She never had a family so she doesn't know how to raise one herself. Just keep telling yourself that you'll be leaving in a few months and will only have to see her every once an awhile... even after college you'll be out and have your own place. Just a few more months! Don't worry about losing your wallet I do it ALL the time! I usually find it right where I left it... I can be real dumb sometimes. ;p Good for you for not cutting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It shows great strength of character! And I wonder... does your mom know that she is an emotionally abusive parent? Hang in there...IT'S JUST A FEW MORE MONTHS!
If you really want a chuckle I'm sure I know a few dirty jokes that will make you laugh! ;p Just remember that the cutting isn't the main problem... it's a symtom of your depression. It's an outlet for emotional pain... sometimes the physical pain is easier to deal with than the emotional. Whenever you feel like cutting just stop... step back... and try to figure out what it is that is depressing you. If it's family then get out of the house for awhile, even if it's just a short walk... just get away from the family for awhile. If it's something else then see if it's something you can change...if it's just 'one of those things' you know, the 'blahs' that just come on for no reason, find something you enjoy doing and partake in that enjoyable activity. Try meditating... trust me it's very relaxing... makes you feel funny all over... but in a good way!
And YAY for college! :) Trust me once you're out on your own and able to live your life away from you mothers shadow things will get better!
I counted out your days and you haven't cut for 48 days! good job!!!!
and don't worry about your mom flipping out on you. My mom does it all the time. It just happens ya know? But, after time you'll be used to it and just let it blow over. At least you'll be able to get out when you go to college, then she can't tell you what to do. Also, next time it gets out of control if you don't want to be anywhere near your mom or Bob, you could always try to find a friend's house to stay at, that way you can give time for your mom and Bob to relax and you can give yourself time to relax aswell, just some advice. haha.
I am already used to it, unfortunately, but it doesn't really matter anymore. I wish there was somewhere I could go but in this rural place I live, I have to drive everywhere, and I can't drive til I get a new license.. it's good advice tho, thanks anyway.

I've never lost anything important tho, it's just aggravating cos I dunno if someone STOLE it or if I just LOST it. So yeah...
I do feel somewhat stronger... I know last year I didn't give quitting a thought. I wasn't strong enough for that last year. I must be getting better.
Actually, exactly a month since yesterday, my fall orientation begins. I leave for college the 11th. *faints* xD

It is hard, but I'm sure in the end I'll be glad I struggled and didn't give in.
