My lovely assistant

We had a great photo shoot on Saturday morning, taking family portraits in the Garden of the Gods. The family was so much fun! I'll post some of those portraits after I finish sorting through them, but first I wanted to show off my lovely assistant.

Whoa... how did you know about his little alien thing? If you promise not to tell anyone, we'll hook you up with an escape when the end is nigh.

Oh my GOD I can't wait to move there. Even that little sliver of land is GORGEOUS.

I told my husband that I want you to do our photos when we move there.

It is so beautiful here! I go to the Garden of the Gods a few times each week, and I never tire of it. You will love it here.

I'd love to take pics of you and your husband when you arrive! It will be a great way to celebrate your new hometown. :)

kinda sorta Off Topic, but not really...out of curiosity, what's the average "turnaround" time from having the pictures taken to getting the CD?

With portraits, I finish the CD within a week, and frequently sooner if my schedule permits. If you're interested in having pics sooner, perhaps before your family leaves, I could probably accommodate!

yeah, I was thinking that, but then I realized that they are leaving the next day (probably early) so, unless you'd want to skip that silly thing called sleep, I think it's practically impossible...oh well.

Now if only my mom had High-Speed Internet (the rest of them do), I could just host them myself and they can pick and choose which ones they want and download. I guess I'll just have to mail them a CD, no worries :)
