Thanks! I made a goal for myself that night that I needed to take at least one picture that showed that Vegas can be beautiful. I just needed to look beyond all the tackiness. ;-)

On a whole Vegas does look very tacky, it's just too much glitter all in one place. But when you focus in on things, like you've done here, you can find lots of beauty there.

there really isn't any other reason to spend a week here.

Of course, when some do manage to win some money, management would still like it to stay around. They've now installed quite a few shops that you can spend it in. Fairly quickly too, based on the price tags.

i have been to vegas once, for a trade show, and had the same feeling about it really. it was great to be there, experience it, but not the kind of place where i want to spend a lot of time. i cant imagine a whole week, i think i was there four or five days, and while i had plenty to keep me busy at my trade show, i remember being very sick of seeing stripper flyers everywhere!

Those stripper fliers really got on my nerves, too! I even saw three elementary-aged children collecting them to bring home to their friends. Shocking.
