Just watched Luther, S1E1, this song at the end is haunting and I love it! Emiliana Torrini's fabulous song Gun from the album Me and Armini. Xabi Alonso posted on his Twitter account that he liked this song and a bunch of people clicked the thumbs up because he brought them there. He's pretty perfect. -
One Week More
To put it mildly, I'm falling apart waiting for the new season to start. I put myself on an Arsenal news blackout because the transfer chatter was making me ill. All the more time to follow my beloved as he criss-crosses my country in pre-season play looking like a bronze god.

I love how stills of these men playing show the strong chest and arms, like Nuryev and Godunov. Xabi Alonso would probably make an excellent tango dancer. I am projecting my dreams of course. But images like this are what I think of when I hear broadcasters call it the beautiful game.

Families & Summer Vacation
It's summer time. That means my family is coming in from all over the world to play in sunny Florida. They are on vacation and when I can tear myself away from my desk, I get to spend time with them.
