I love Sherlock! It was always only going to be a matter of time before I made a vid for it, I'll have to see what a new season offers up for potential vidability.

Great to know you love what I did with it. Biased or not.

Brilliant. What a beautiful exploration of one of the central themes of Sherlock. I've never heard that remix before, and it's such a perfect choice. I love how you work with the unexpected rhythms of the remix to keep the vid itself somehow formally in keeping with the theme. It's masterfully strange--keeps you on the edge of your seat as a viewer, as every character is rendered/feels strange and alienated. I also loved how you used the song to address how issues of gender run through the series' representation of alienation and strangeness. Downloading for repeated viewings. <3

Wow, thank you so much. It is such a relief to find people connecting with the theme of this vid. I worried that interest in Sherlock vids might be confined to Holmes and/or Watson but what I really wanted to highlight was the city itself and the peculiar isolation it imposes on its inhabitants. The song was such a lucky find and I absolutely love this remix, how fresh and weird it makes a familiar song seem.

Oh, man, this is amazing! I love the way you work with the music. It's a tremendously exciting vid that really does a great job conveying danger and alienation. Sherlock is strange and alone, and he sees a broken, hostile city.

I really like how you've included so much from the minor characters like the crime victims. The ending is also perfect.

I love the idea that Sherlock is a reflection of the city he lives in, dazzlingly brilliant one minute, darkly dangerous the next.

I'm glad you enjoyed the vid so much.
