Phoebe walked out of her office and tried to suppress the attraction she was feeling for Leslie St. Claire. She had never dreamed that Elise would hire a male ghost writer for her column. The only male advice columnist she had ever met was Spencer Ricks, and he was the biggest chauvinist on the planet. How did Elise expect a man to be Ask Phoebe?

She wondered if Elise was finally losing her mind. She wondered where this Leslie St. Claire had worked before. But most of all, she wondered why she couldn’t stop seeing his face in her mind.

Challenge #14 - Doors song titles - The Lizard King and Five to One

Challenge #15 - My Immortal lyrics - Gone, but not Forgotten

Challenge # 16 - Line of Dialogue (there are other options)

He felt the pain in his side dissipate. He tried to get his bearings and was startled to see his friend Clarence.

“I guess this means I’m dead.”

“Chris, we haven’t known what to do with you since you arrived in this time. You may be dead, but there are other options. I was sent to keep you company until they decide where to send you.”

“Did I at least succeed? Did I stop Wyatt from turning evil and save my family?”

Clarence shook his head. “I can’t tell you that. Just relax and we’ll get you taken care of.”

Challenge #17 - Death

Paige couldn’t control the tears that streamed down her face. She just couldn’t seem to grasp the idea that Kyle wasn’t really dead.

“I can’t believe you’re here with me again,” she sobbed into his shoulder.

He held her tight. “I understand what a shock this all is to you. Believe me, it hasn’t been the easiest adjustment for me either. One minute the Angel of Death was leading me to this long, bright tunnel and the next I was sitting in a room surrounded by Elders. I’m just glad I had the opportunity to see you again.”

“Me too.”

Challenge #18 - New Beginnings

She unconsciously rubbed her hands over her stomach. It was only a few more weeks until her baby was due and she couldn’t wait.

Her baby (she was certain it was a daughter) was the product of the love she and her husband shared but she kicked her mother hard as her father orbed in.

“What’s wrong?” he asked, noting the grimace on her face.

“Your daughter is abusing me already.”

Kyle smiled at his wife. “My daughter, huh?”

“When she’s in trouble, absolutely,” Paige grinned back, basking in the happiness of the new phase she was about to enter.

Challenge #19 - Utopia

“Hi honey, I’m home.”

Piper smiled as her husband walked up behind her and planted a kiss on the top of her head as she sorted new recipes.

“How was your day?”

“It was perfect. I took the boys to playgroup and then we stopped at the park. When we got home, I fed them lunch and put them down for their naps. They’re at the park with Phoebe now. How was yours?”

“It was wonderful. I watched over the east coast today and there were no problems at all.”

“Paige offered to watch the boys tonight so you can come to the club with me.”

“Sounds great.” Leo looked at the recipes his wife was sorting. “What are you making for dinner?”

“I’m going to try a new recipe for lemon pepper pork tenderloin. I just need to run to the market for a few ingredients.” Piper stood up and put the recipe in her purse so she wouldn’t forget anything she needed to make dinner.

Leo stopped her with a hug.

“Aren’t you glad you listened to me and trusted the avatars?”

Piper gave her husband a soft kiss. “I’m glad we’re able to be a normal family.”
