Leo: I listened to the other elders as they talked about how to help better our charges and things like that, but all I could think about was Piper. I couldn't help it, she was the one person in the world that meant the world to me, her and the boys. I'd die for them...again. And I'd kill anyone who tried to hurt them. As soon as I had a chance I orbed back to the manor and saw Piper cooking up a storm, and her hands in oven mitts, so she couldn't blow me up, how convenient. "Hey" I said to announce my presence.
Piper: Piper: I ignored him. I had a huge meal to cook and he can't think that he can pop in here after leaving and NOT answering my question and I'll just forgive him and we'll talk like nothing happened.
Leo: I walked towards her slowly, still ready to orb out in case she turned too fast. "I'm sorry about leaving...in the middle of things, I can't really ignore them." I said in my defense..."About Angel...I'm just...I don't want this family to get hurt again by a demon who is parading around pretending to be good" I finally said.
Piper: Piper: I stopped, staring at him. "He's not pretending to be good, Leo, he IS good. And yes, he's a vampire. I was scared too at first, but he has a soul. And he helps people. I trust him and in time, you will trust him too."
Leo: "In time...." I said pointing out to her that I would learn to deal with him. "You're right, he's done nothing wrong, so I should give him the benefit of the doubt, it's just...I'm worried because the boys are so young and they're easily persuaded and I don't want them growing up confused about right and wrong."
Piper: Piper: "Right and wrong is not always black and white, Leo. Angel is a perfect example of that. Besides, they have two parents who make sure they know right from wrong. Mommy is right, daddy is wrong." Okay, on that last part, I was joking and I tried not to smile as I checked on something in the oven.
Leo: I couldn't help but chuckle at her last remark. "You're right...the boys are smart and they do have amazing parents." I said with a smile. I walked closer to her and wrapped my arms around her from the back. "Does this mean all is forgiven?" I asked as I whispered into her ear.
Piper: Piper: "Maybe." I said, loving his arms around me. "Are you going to give Angel a chance?"
Leo: "Do I get to sleep in our bed tonight?" I countered as I kissed her neck softly. "Yes, I'll give him a chance, but..." I started to say, but I didn't know what to say, I would give him a chance, I was an elder, I was supposed to give everyone a chance.
Piper: "Depends on what that but was about and if I need to kick it." I said, turning and looking at him. "I know it's difficult since he's a demon. But give him a chance. For me. This is important, Leo. The Charmed Ones, for all intents and purposes have teamed up with Angel Inc and the slayerschool. We all work together now. This is something you have to be okay with."
Leo: I looked at her...her lips, I fixated on them and heard a few words she was saying. "You're right...It's just I want us to be careful, we know next to nothing about them...but since the rest of the elders want us working together. I have to agree and cave..." I said pulling her closer and leaning down to kiss her. "For you...I trust every single one of them...because of you." I say softly.
Piper: Piper: I was rapidly losing focus here and his lips on mine was not helping one bit. Before I knew it, I didn't answer him, I was just kissing him and holding onto him. Then I smelled something. Oh no, the oven! "Crap! I will NOT have my food burn!" I went and opened the oven, and pulled out a roasted chicken. It was going to be more crispy than normal, but there were no burn marks on the cheese cloth.
Leo: I let go of her as she spun out of my arms and saved the chicken. "Sorry" I said as I held up my hands..."Should I go and find something else to do?" I said. I didn't want to get in the way.
Piper: Piper: "Uhhh, maybe go relieve Paige of the boys. Or go see how Julie is doing. I hope she's hungry..." I was rushing around again, my momentary distraction almost costing me a lot of food. "I'm sorry, Leo, we'll spend time together later, I promise. You, me, our bed, tonight."
Leo: "You know I'm going to hold you to that" I said as I walked over and gave her a quick parting kiss as I orbed to the school to pick the boys up and catch Paige up on what was happening.

So we had a date for tonight, Piper and I. I was happy, the woman I loved wanted to spend more time with me, which is always a good thing. Even if it started out sort of rocky with the sore subject of a vampire with a soul; which is ironic enough. But, once again she's right...I need to give him a chance; he's been nothing but good. But if he harms one hair on the boys or someone in this family, I'll be the first to send a stake through his non-beating heart.
I said that I'd pick the boys up, more like Piper reminded me, but that's ok. It's been a while since I've been to magic school and I could play with the boys and talk to Paige.
I orbed to the school and went to the nursery and found Wyatt playing with some blocks and Chris was sound asleep. I walked over to Wyatt and sat down and played blocks with him.
((Open to anyone...Paige especially))
