Julie: I woke up before he did and just watched as he slept. This was so different than before...I felt safe with him, protected by him..part of me waited for the other shoe to drop.
Groo: I feel as if I am being watched and slowly open my eyes. I smile as I see her watching me. "Sweet Julie," I say softly, touching her cheek. "Did you rest well?"
Julie: "Kinda" I whisper softly "I didn't mean to wake you up."
Groo: "You did not," I say, wrapping my arms around her. "I am pleased you were able to sleep."
Julie: I relax in his arms. "Ma..May I ask you something?"
Groo: "You may ask anything you desire," I answer, smiling as she does not pull away.
Julie: "W...What does it feel like to be wanted without money involved."
Groo: I look into her eyes, trying to find a way to explain. "It is, very pleasant. It feels as if you are the only being in the universe when you are with your partner. You feel protected, at peace, safe and wanted, needed." I hope my explaination is sufficient.
Julie: I nod as a tear falls. It is upsetting that I have never felt this at all.
Groo: I softly wipe the tear from her cheek. "Have I upset you, sweet Julie?"
Julie: "No...you haven't." I say as I turn away. "I..I just never felt that."
Groo: I stroke her back softly as she turns from me. "I know you will, sweet Julie," I say gently. "You are an amazing young woman, I know you shall find love."
Julie: I shake my head "most likely not."
Groo: I gently pull her shoulder so I may see her face. I look into her eyes, "I am certain."
Julie: "You are an optimist, i am not so much."
Groo: I lean down and kiss her cheek softly, "I am certain," I say firmly, but gently.
Julie: "Why are you so damn certain" I ask a bit angry, but at the same time not.
Groo: I look away slightly, unable to meet her eyes. "Because I care for you and I have only known you a short time."
Julie: I look at him confused. "What do you mean?"
Groo: I take a deep breath. "When I saw you the first time, there was no thought in my mind other than to keep you safe. My soul aches for your pain. I desire only to give you the life you deserve and all which you desire."
Julie: "B...But I am a whore." I said remembering my father's words.
Groo: "No. You were forced to act as such, but your heart, your soul, is pure. You survived, you shall live, you will become your truest self."
Julie: "And what is that? A slayer? Yeah a lot to look forward to." I said "I fought for my life to be free and fight for my life."
Groo: "You are not only a slayer, you are a woman. It will not be your entire life unless you choose to make it such. The life of a slayer is no longer a life of aloneness. There are others like you, many others. There are others like me, who choose to fight beside you, assist you, protect you. I shall always be with you, unless you ask me to go."
Julie: "I..I don't know." I said looking away again. "I just wish that one day I could be normal. Not the girl whose father raped, beat, and pimped her out, not the girl who is a slayer, just me. Julie."
Groo: I stroke her cheek softly. "That is what you are, to me. I expect nothing from you. I wish to allow you the life you choose, not one that is chosen for you."
Julie: another tear fell. "Thank you."
Groo: I pull her close to me, her small body wrapped against mine. "You are quite welcome, my sweet Julie," I say softly into her ear.
Julie: "W..Will you do something for me?" I ask softly
Groo: "Anything," I say, honestly willing to do anything she asks.
Julie: "Will you show me?" I ask
Groo: "Will I show you what?" I ask softly.
Julie: "What it feels like" I didn't want to do anything serious, I wasn't looking for sex...I just wanted to know.
Groo: "Julie, I will. However, I am unsure if we are each prepared for such a step," I say softly, unwilling to harm her. "I desire to kiss you, if it is all right with you, however," I say with a slight blush.
Julie: My eyes widen "You think I meant...oh god, no not ready for that."
Groo: I blush deeply and look away. "I... I apologize, I misunderstood your meaning."
Julie: I smile "Its ok." I say softly
Groo: I chuckle and shake my head, "Thank you for understanding my ignorance."
Julie: "Would you stop that." I said he gave me a look "Stop calling yourself stupid, or ignorant. You are smart too you know."
Groo: I smile at her. "Only if you resist calling yourself a whore," I say, touching her cheek softly.
Julie: "I will try..."
Groo: I smile and nod. "As will I," I say. I look into her eyes, "So, may I kiss you, sweet Julie?"
Julie: My stomach twisted into knots when he asked that, my palms started to sweat, and my breath caught as I attempted to come up with a reply...all I had to do was say yes, but even that seemed so hard.
Groo: I see the uncertainty on her face and stroke her cheek softly. "It is all right, you will allow it when you are ready," I say softly.
Julie: "I...I am ready." I whisper "B..But what if I am bad?"
Groo: I smile kindly at her. "That sentiment is objective. As I care for you, I cannot believe you would be bad. However, it is possible I am," I tease.
Julie: "I..If you promise not to laugh at me..."
Groo: I look at her seriously. "I would never, sweet Julie."
Julie: "You might." I say as I look down.
Groo: I lift her chin, placing one finger over her lips. I take a breath and lean in, closing my eyes as I place my lips gently against hers.
Julie: Oh god his lips are on mine, my body begins to tremble. What if I do this wrong? What if I disgust him? Oh shut up Julie, you have been a pro at this since you were twelve...literally, you know how to freaking kiss. I let my thoughts melt away, my lips part ever so slightly and I allow his lips to melt to mine, his tongue sliding over them longing to gain entrance, though he would never force it. I was lost in the passion of this kiss, in the safety of his arms, I was in heaven.
Groo: I feel my heart melt as she returns my kiss, I pull her body to mine. I feel my body filling with desire and I break the kiss. I do not wish to make her uncomfortable.
Julie: My eyes slowly open and I look to him "That bad huh?" I ask softly
Groo: "Oh, my sweet Julie, no. That was the most amazing thing I have experienced," I say honestly.
Julie: "You must not have expierenced much in the way of good then."
Groo: "I thought we had an agreement, my sweet Julie," I say softly.
Julie: "I know nothing of an agreement."
Groo: "You are teasing me, are you not?" I ask, uncertain.
Julie: "What is this teasing you speak of?" I ask with a smile.
Groo: I chuckle and lean forward to kiss her again, "I believe I am beginning to adore you."
Julie: "Adore?" I ask "Why would you do that?"
Groo: "Because you are humorous, beautiful, strong, bold, as well as an amazing kisser," I say softly.
Julie: I look away embarassed. "I..I guess."
Groo: "It is the truth, my sweet." I curl my arms around her, playing with her soft hair.
Julie: I close my eyes taking in this feeling. "Ok" I whisper. I could get used to this.
Groo: "Thank you."
Julie: "For what?" I ask confused
Groo: "For accepting my words," I say. I do not wish to ever release her. Her body feels like perfection against mine.
Julie: "Oh" I whisper. "
Groo: I play softly with her hair, twisting its length around my finger gently. "You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen," I say softly, barely a whisper.
Julie: "You must not hav....nevermind." I said as I look away.
Groo: I gently lift her face to look at me. "I must not have what?" I ask gently.
Julie: "Seen may women then."
Groo: I chuckle softly. "I have been in two dimensions, I have been around women of all shapes, colors, sizes, and races. You are more beautiful than all of them combined," I say honestly.
Julie: I sigh "I am not winning t his am I?"
Groo: I laugh, "I am afraid you cannot. It is the truth."
Julie: I sigh "Ok".
Groo: I smile and kiss her nose, "It is not a bad thing to accept a compliment, my sweet Julie."
Julie: "Only when its true can I do that."
Groo: "Then I shall tell you each day till you are able," I say softly, my fingertips tracing small circles on her bare back.
Julie: My spine tingled as he did that. "T..This doesn't bother you?"
Groo: I look at her, confused. "What do you mean?"
Julie: "M..My being without....you know clothes?"
Groo: I smile. "It does not. I only wish for you to be comfortable. Does it bother you that I am without a shirt?" I ask softly.
Julie: "N..No." I said softly as my hand ran over his body.
Groo: I feel my body tremble slightly, her small hand caressing me. "I believe I could stay here with you forever," I say softly.
Julie: "Why don't we do that." I said still scared to go out.
Groo: I smile and kiss her again gently. "As you wish, my sweet Julie." My hand travels up and down her back, my strong fingers massaging her tense muscles lightly.
Julie: "Y...You can't do that and not expect me to not want more than a kiss."
Groo: I stop, placing my hand on her arm, rubbing my thumb softly across her skin. "I am sorry, I did not mean to push you."
Julie: "You aren't...I..I just mean that you...you make me want more when you do that.
Groo: I smile at her. "I understand, I truly do," I say softly, looking into her eyes.
Julie: "Do you really?"
Groo: I nod, afraid to say anything inappropriate.
Julie: "What?" I could tell he was holding something back
Groo: I blush and look down. "It is only that, please, try to understand, but I desire you. I will do nothing to harm you, I promise, but you make my heart melt, your beauty, your touch, your kisses. I have never felt anything so intense."
Julie: "Really?" I ask softly You don't want...you don't want....someone else?"
Groo: I gather my courage and look into her eyes. "I do not. I only desire you."
Julie: "Cool." I whisper turning on my side, my back to him. "Not yet though right?"
Groo: I wrap my arm around her waist, pulling her to me. "Not yet, my sweet Julie," I say softly against her ear.
Julie: "M..May I take a shower?" I ask softly
Groo: I kiss her cheek gently. "Can you promise me you will not harm yourself?"
Julie: "I won't." I say honestly "You took everything from me anyway."
Groo: "It is only because I wish to keep you safe, please do not be angry with me," I say softly.
Julie: "Why would I?" I ask as I sit up
Groo: I shrug and sit up with her. "I do not know, I just wanted to make sure."
Julie: I turn and look at him forgetting I am naked. "I won't do anything you wouldn't aprove of." I say "M..May I Shower?"
Groo: I touch her face, kissing her softly. "Of course, you do not need to ask my permission. This is your life now," I say gently.
Julie: "I..I don't mind asking." I said softly
Groo: I smile, "I do not mind you asking, I merely do not wish you to think you must." I slide off the bed, handing her a large, plush towel. "I will make us something to eat while you shower."
Julie: I shake my head "I am not hungry. Thank you though." I said as I went in the bathroom and shut the door.
