"I need a break from this and you look like you need to talk so why don't we go and get some coffee in the kitchen." It wasn't so much a question as I needed coffee and he needed to talk.

"Coffee does sound good though," I said as I followed her down the stairs and once we had coffee I took a seat at the table and drank some of the coffee.
"So no luck scrying for her?" I asked. There had to be something we could do.

"So, that was some dream you were having up there..want to talk about it?" I finally ask as I sat down handing him a cup of coffee.

"Because I can fly us out to Vegas right now and we can kick some ass and score lots of money." I said teasingly. She gave me another look. Damn, who am I kidding, she's right, no use trying.
"Well, can't blame a guy for trying." I said, admitting defeat.
"It's a really long and complex story..." I said, trying to push the flood of memoirs that came, all the wonderful moments Sam and I had. The wedding, the honeymoon, the guys playing jokes on us and our handles, Mr. John Smith and Mrs. Jane Smith.
"I lost someone I cared a lot about..." I said, drinking more coffee. "But then again, it happens to everyone." I watched her die...and was helpless to help her, and I refuse to ever feel that pain again.

"Angel..." I said and didn't elaborate, I had respect for him, but it didn't mean I had to like him, not like I could complete with Mr. Vampire with a Soul... Was I jealous? Yeah, a little bit.
"Well let's start with going downstairs and waiting for everyone else to wake-up and get ready from there" I said with a smile.

"you think we can behave if we relax in my room?" I asked. I didn't want to sit on the couch and do the uncomfortable silence thing, instead i would rather relax with him somewhere a tad more private.

I need to be careful, don't need to be thinking things I shouldn't be.
"So there's no way to turn it off?" I asked, I mean I liked her power, it could just make our relationship a bit different.
"I promise to be a good little boy and keep my hands to myself..." I said with a mock salute. "well, for the most part" I said teasingly. There was nothing wrong with giving her a quick massage to ease her stress level.
