i loved how you wrote this. sometimes the good things are harder to hold on to. and i wonder why. they escape and we wonder..maybe fall will be just the same
Thank you, it means a lot that you enjoyed it. I don't have too much hopes for the fall, just hoping it passes quick. Summers have and will always be the best, until friends start leaving for college.
This was masterfully written, and this relates exactly to how I'm feeling now too..
We always feel that we can do better, achieve more... and get so caught up in everything that we fail to notice and appreciate all of the little things around us. And really, perceiving the somewhat minute things are can make all the difference in the world. ♥
&Thank you, what you said reminded me of a quote, "The best moments in reading are when you come across something--a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things--that you'd thought special, particular to you. And here it is, set down by someone else, a person you've never met, maybe even someone long dead. And it's as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." - -The History Boys, Alan Bennett
I'm glad that you can relate to my entries because I feel the same way about yours and if I can return the favour, even better.
You look like my first day of summer When my spring is on the run You're gold and more gold And you're platinum too With snow toned, copper attitude I don't know what I'd do without you

and I guess sometimes we need the reminder of death to make us think hard about life and what we want out of it.
