B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. piece of writing here~ Always loved that particular Van Gogh painting...Starry Night? I may not feel exactly the same way about painting but this makes me think twice! You make painting sound so surreal.^^ Never thought of it that way...

PS: Your English is impressive! =O

The fact that people can even paint is so amazing to me, especially since my artistic ability in areas other than music is minimal at best. But I guess for all art forms, feeling inspired is what creates something that can never again be replicated, hence proving that inspiration can never be copied?

My paintings aren't impressive but I like being inspired and painting under the dicate of feeling. It's easier than putting emotions into words sometimes.
Though, unlike you, I'm not musically inclined. I can appreciate music but I'm just not good at making it; quite horrible actually.

In my experience, visual art in general seems to be harder to appreciate when you are not an artist and cannot appreciate the brushes and exact strokes used to create such a work, but I think the messages they provide transcend these details and still make a lasting impact.

Thank you; that made me feel a lot less inferior despite my lack of technique :)

Starry Starry Night. A painting for so much emotion and a song perfect for its cause.

Don McLean. I have a copy of the lyrics each in my personal and art journal.
Josh Groban performed this song with CHRISTOPHER PARKENING on classical guitar. You should check it out some time if you haven't.

Of course you do. I wrote this after our conversation and you were the one that mentioned Newman.
Anyway, how was summer at 'Venice of the North'?

Defintely not my type of place. It's a cesspool of corruption, organized crime, and then by god, it is a cesspool. I got robbed of my money twice. Chase was the only person that got something out of the entire sojourn. The bloody connoi-sewer.

YOU GOT ROBBED?! HOW?
&I think a lot of the country's appeal comes from the fact that it's a cesspool. You know, there's all this talk about Amsterdam being the ultimate college trip since it's the city of sin and all.
