Today is the official 16th anniversary of the Montreal Massacre. We remember the 14 women who were killed in Montreal, but they were not the only victims who died as a result of violence at the hands of men. Countless Indigneous women, such as First Nations, Aboriginal, Inuit and Metis, too have been murdered, but their deaths have been neutralized

december 6 is a problematic day, to be sure. but i don't know what's worse. remembering no violence at all or remembering problematic violence
