[Jade would rather not discuss this topic, but unfortunately he's obligated to make sure Dist didn't decide to break his promise and go back to experimenting with human fomicry in this place. If nothing else the dream was rather insightful.]
[Well, he should have expected Jade to show up. Lately, the fonist always seemed to appear at the most unpleasant moments.]
...
[Dist doesn't respond at first. Moments tick by in silence and it appears like the fontechnician might not even reply at all. However, he finally does.]
[Perhaps it's due to the dream and it's contents, but Dist isn't particularly interested in where Jade's going with this. It usually ends up in the same location as everything else.]
A-ah... ahaha~! P-please don't mind the scary images, it's just a silly nightmare~!
[The last thing he wants to do is add to whatever trauma Jade has inflicted upon her. Not to mention she might think he's actually rather pathetic and not nearly so fabulous, and thus start avoiding him. He pauses, then tries to give Anise his best, confident smile.]
Hmhmhm, how good of you to notice~! Though to be sure, I've always been rather handsome!
[ He isn't sure how to handle this, because one, as Emperor, he knows the dangers of fomicry -- has seen it, has been affected by it -- but on the other hand, this is Saphir, his childhood friend who really only ever had an equal thirsting for knowledge and acceptance. ]
You know as well as I do that there's no gain from fomicry.
[And here's the other one he didn't particularly want to see after this dream. Which obviously meant it was inevitable Peony would show up.]
...That's only because there hasn't been enough research to fully explore its capabilities. Besides, I would think the death of the Score counts as a sizable gain.
[ He's not busting in because he knows that he's never been one to .. deal with these personal matters well, ever since Nephry. Taking care of a nation and making those decisions was easy compared to ... these ordeals, it seemed. ]
You've seen the damage it's caused. You'll be hurting people in the process!

[Nephry is at a bit of a loss for words at this. She hadn't known specifically what Saphir had gotten himself into as a God-General. She just knew she wasn't expecting this. Had this all stemmed from her brother? And of course, there was the guilt that she was unable to do anything to keep it from developing this far.]
I... [She sighs, and instead asks a default question before she can attempt to dig any further.] Saphir, are you well?
huzzah~! \o/ <3bemyrappigNovember 28 2009, 23:29:13 UTC
[She tries to ignore the fact that it was that tenacity that her brother seemed to enjoy commenting on. And of course, she doesn't believe him in the slightest.]
Then I must admit I'm impressed. You're managing quite well after a dream like that.
