He's not quite old enough to be my father, I'm afraid. But give him a few more years and I'm sure he'll get there! I wasn't aware there was a difference between those two in your mind either.

I am certain Cadoc is aware of that. Besides, I believe it to be impossible in every conceivable manner (no pun intended) that he could have ever produced you. As a prefect, he is furthermore required to look out for other students. His was a piece of friendly advice likely directed at younger years and students who are not yourself. If you find it trying to discern the difference between friendly and unfriendly advice, I will be happy to assist you.
