*le sigh*
last night we were completely ignored by civilization, and it was probably the best night i've had in a loooooooong time.
we worked till 1 ish... then we ate some chinese food and came home. of course, work gave me a headache so i wanted to take a nap, and andrew went off to run some errands. he went to go pick up my moms ring... we dropped my mom's wedding ring which had snapped a long time ago off at a jeweler friend of andrew's to see if he could fix it, and i think he did a pretty good job. i hope mom's gonna like it even though it was just kinda welded back togther (back story: her ring is like a bunch of gold threads braided together, and connected by a short band and it got really weak and snapped, so she's been going without her wedding band for like 5-6 years now... and the person she brought it to before kinda did the same thing that we got done, only not as strong, and not with actual gold)
anyways, i wake up from the nap around 3:30 ish and took a looong shower... i get out and he's on the computer and there's a jewelry box on the table with a gay little sign that says "leetah and andrew" that i made a couple days ago when i was bored. inside was this beautiful necklace with a star charm that i saw in the store a couple times and made it a point to make notice of :-) he came over and put it on me. it was so cute
then as the night's getting darker, andrew takes me on a date. it was so cute. we went to the observatory and looked at some stars and nebulas (the guys that work there REALLY take their sky watching seriously...) and made out under the stars on my car. how cute is that huh?
then we went on to chilis, grabbed some food and came home and had some more fun.
two years ago i would have NEVER thought.....
