The Bad News

It's official. My husband no longer has a job. The Washington Times has, as of tomorrow, eliminated its sports section, along with the section's 25 reporters and 2 editors. Mark is cautiously optimistic about some opportunities in the baseball reporting community in DC. We don't really know much more than this.

That sucks - but with his talent and knowledge, I'm sure he'll be back at work in no time. There's such a dearth of good sportswriters out there; he's badly needed!
