A recurring theme: serene and lovely weekend days with the windows open make me happy, but they do *not* inspire productivity. I am behind on homework. Weirdly, I have been coughing up little snippets of Bond/Vesper fic, and dude, I don't write fic. I really don't ( Read more... )

Hello there :) I hope you don't mind this response relating pretty much to nothing in your post except your dear self. I just wanted to stop by and thank you for the lovely e-mail you wrote me a while back. I so meant to respond, but I am on the computer so seldom lately and treatment weeks almost not at all. I just wanted to send you hugs and many thanks for your dear words...they meant soooo much my friend xoxoxoxoxoxo (hopefully an e-mail update from Matt and one on my LJ will be soon) Thinking of you and miss you ♥

PAM!!! I absolutely didn't expect any reply to that email, so don't worry for one second about it. I think of you often and don't want to be a pest or anything...I so hope everything is going well and I will be watching for updates. Much love to you and all the healing thoughts a silly LJ comment can convey :)

WHAT?!?!!?

We chatted for almost TWO HOURS last night, and you somehow omitted the part about how you're writing fanfic?

I can't even BELIEVE you!

PS- I'm also bummed we forgot to talk about GLEE. I want you to vid it desperately!

It was truly not worth mentioning -- I promise I am not "writing fanfic" in any sort of organized sense :)

Yeah, I thought about Glee afterwards as well! But what is there to say except...YAY! Vidding is always the first thing that pops into my mind, not that I have any ideas for Glee yet (and it may be tough, since the show is partially a musical).

Option pricing models and corporate valuation sound a lot fancier than vid commentary! Finance kicks my arse so am mighty mighty impressed by anyone who manages to make sense of it. Congratulations on your straight As! Despite the omgicantdoitimagonnadiiiiiiiiieeee sensation, it looks like everything is going beautifully for you and I hope it continues. Hopefully with less stress. *hugs*

Far less fun, that's for sure. Dreadful :) There are several "tracks" within this master's degree, depending upon which professional certification you plan to pursue: public accountant, financial analyst, fraud examiner. If I needed any sort of validation that the finance-oriented track was not for me, this course sequence has definitely provided it!

I think I will try and use your dedication and positive thinking as my own role model. It beats staring at the wall wishing the work would go away so I could play. Or even just work on other...worky things. :P

I do quite a lot of that as well :) Can't we go back to kindergarten? Snacks, recess, naps and maybe a little bit of finger-painting...sounds awfully nice.

Take care of you! *squeezes you back*
