This is so random. I've been thinking about Chanel No.5 today and wondering how Eau Premiere fits into the old No. 5 (I haven't tried it), so it's cool to see an answer pop up on my f-list less than 12 hours later! Psychicness for the win. :D

That *is* random! It's odd, you know -- No. 5 is historically important in terms of perfume development and remains the best-known Chanel scent, but I don't think it's their easiest to wear or most appealing by a long shot (I do like it, but the ones you'd have to pry out of my cold, dead hands are No. 22, Bois des Iles and Cuir de Russie). Eau Premiere is pleasant...I'm not good at describing scents, but this is a nice post from one of the perfume blogs I read, comparing the two.
