This is why I can't have fun things.

GROUP PROJECTS ARE MADE OF THE DEVIL. Related point: why are people so lame?

*breathes deeply*

This is the last academic course in my master's degree -- I've got four more classes after this, but they're all CPA exam prep material converted into course format, and as I understand it, they're very flexible. Right now, it's the capstone course and it's ( Read more... )

Breaking Bad is my latest fandom interest...along with catching up with Community (seems I may have found my Scrubs substitute). Hmmm ... Despicable Me was actually quite amusing and The King's Speech was absolutely brilliant. These are my latest fandom whimsies. Oh and if you haven't already seen it - BBC's Sherlock...excellent viewing!

Thanks for sharing! Have indeed seen Sherlock, but I appreciate the nudge for Breaking Bad as I need to put that into the Netflix queue -- have heard many good things, love AMC originals overall, but I think I've just not done it yet because it looks so serious and I feel like I have to be in the right frame of mind for it. And The King's Speech I'm definitely looking forward to...I adore Colin Firth and even saw What A Girl Wants for him (I mean, he wears leather pants and I am TOTALLY shallow that way), so that's a given :-)

Ughhh I hate group work. IT IS THE DEVIL.

I'm still in love with The Social Network and I have renewed love for my Festivids source that I can't talk about yet. I do love Misfits though and am working on S2 and even though I don't have huge love for any of the characters/ships yet, it's still enjoyable. Loving Modern Family as usual, loving the new show, Shameless and looking forward to Glee coming back.

Yes, group work is horrible -- I think they just make you do it for the suffering. I've only got a few weeks left in the class, thank goodness.

I haven't seen The Social Network, but your comment (or I should say, re-reading your comment just now, since I dropped off the face of LJ again due to blahblah work/school) was just the reminder I needed to go put it in my Netflix queue right this very minute! I still have to catch up on Glee (the post-Super Bowl ep was too late for me and I didn't want to watch on Tuesday since I hadn't seen that one yet...so I have both eps ready to watch this weekend), but am really happy it is back :-)

Pete and I are trying out "The Cape". It's a bit over the top in campiness, but it looks like it could get better....we hope.

Has The Cape gotten better? It didn't get canceled already, did it? I kind of wondered about it, but thought I'd wait and see if there was good buzz.
