A/N: If you haven’t read one of the other versions of Contact this might not make much sense. This is the third version of the ending which was supposed to be posted with the other two. It wouldn’t cooperate.

This one is closest to how I think it would go down. Because I set the Contact verse a few months after the movie, Ithink Brian and Dom

Holy she-it!! I certainly didn't see that ending coming. Wow. Not sure what I feel about it, but damn. Brian. Again? Is there more? Or will this be the ultimate cliffhanger?

Well let's see, I don't actually have plans to write a sequel so I guess technically there isn't anymore, although I have given some thought as to what the hell Brian is thinking. And

no worries there. there is another piece of the contact verse coming but it goes with the second version of the ending.

i had to set it aside for a bit because i'm particiapting in a ficathon in another fandom.

Okay, so I wound up reading these after Contact *bad me!* But I really like all three endings-it's like a choose your own adventure. Behind door #1 is the bittersweet love story with the romance movie ending. Behind door #2 is the bittersweet lovestory with the ambiguousm, more realistic ending, and behind door # 3 is the bittersweet lovestory with the action/adventure beginning. I love your characterizations of both Dom and Brian, the tone and flow of the story, and like I said, all three endings make a great story, though the third one begs for a sequel.

Yay! You read all three versions, thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed them. All three seemed really feasible to me so I had to do them. If there were a sequel to the third it would be prolly be something like Brian convincing Dom to turn on the guys he passed the goods to cause I don't remember that being made clear in the first film. Dom strikes a deal and they're both out clean. After Dom kicks his ass of course for playing him a second time ;-)
