Same things apply to part two as to part 1.  Sorry that this is update is shorter than orginally anticipated but I wanted to be sure that I updated in a somewhat timely manner and the next bit I really have to work out in my mind.

Feedback is a treasure.  thanks!

When he woke up, everything still ached but in a vaguer, less pressing way, almost a ( Read more... )

Wow! Thank you. I am really glad that the pace worked for you, I wasn't quite sure about it. Your compliment regarding the characterization really made my day. I haven't done this type of thing before with Wilson and I really wanted to get the right tone. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it.

To me Wilson is such a brilliant mix of things that I really wanted to try to paint a picture of Wilson being depressed without him being a wimp. To me the fact that House didn't know until the yawing and his little dosing experiment was very telling of the fact there are some things that Wilson does not want House to see and it made me wonder why. Thank you So much for taking the time to review this and I will update as soon as the inspiration allows the next part to come. Thanks!

This is amazing. You are really grasping Wilson's inner torment to perfection. Even just watching the show, you can see that there are soooo many times where it looks as if he's wrestling with a response to a question, and you are capturing that.

Wilson shaved, definitely slower than usual in order to be sure that it was done as cleanly as normal. Then he went through the rest of his “preening” rituals. He wasn’t really sure why he was doing it, since he fully had no intention of seeing anyone. But somehow he felt that his appearance still mattered and that coming in slovenly would be admitting something that he didn’t want to admit. Plus he took comfort in the familiar rhythm of those mundane tasks. Somehow they relaxed him and seemed to prepare him. It’s like a knight putting on armor, with the advantage of it being lighter and easier to wear. He downed some Dayquil and packed a couple of things that he needed to bring in ( ... )

Thank you so much. I feel like at least a Show of normacy, and control is important to him-besides Wilson is a preener *chuckles*.

hehehe... I actually thought of you when I put in the line about the map- I was hoping that you'd like it.

It is most definately a good thing that Foreman has not been teaching House.

I figured that even if Wilson wasn't necessarily big on letting House see him being sick; he definately doesn't want him to see the depression. Wilson strikes me as a very bright man and I think that he'd try to get away with revealing as little as he can of what he doesn't want to reveal.

Yeah... the next part is going to be tricky. I'm still not quite sure what House will and won't see and how that interplays.

Thanks So much for reading and commenting. I'm really glad that you are enjoying it.

Thank you So much. I was really nervous about writing Wilson, because I didn't know if I could get the feel right.
