I....drive a mustang :( :( :( It used to be my mom's...but after the lease on my explorer ended, i just snatched her car....but but....i don't drive like a maniac...WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH! Really. I leave plenty of cushion space...and wait till all the cars have passed before i make a left turn. And I speed....ermm..occasionally.. lol

Don't hate me! OH THE MADNESS!!!! ahh i'm playing...but, really..I hope you didn't run into me on the road!!?????

wow..
a tacoma was made to go a hell of a lot faster than 70.. they have a good amount of horsepower.
the modern mustangs were made to look like they can go fast, but in reality suck, theyre a ford. enough said.

-the tacoma had about 140 hsp. 2.4 liter 4-cylinder.
-as for the Kia....130 hsp. with a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder.

-Now, for the mustangs....as much as i HATE ford mustangs (my lips get really tight when people start talking about how great they look, im sure you know what i mean)...the 2004 GT isnt allllll that bad. unfortunately, the stock '04 GT has about 260 hsp with 302 lbs-ft. they pull about a 14 sec. 1/4 mile stock. but, that doesnt mean i like them.

AcumenII: Not only do the new GT's pull 14.1 from the factory, but there's also a 32v version that can pull even faster with 305hp and 320 ft-lbs. The tacoma, talking about the most common one seen, or the 2.4/2.7 L, pull a measely 142/150hp and 160/177 ft-lbs tq. Now, given that they are small, they're still both nearly 3,000 lbs. Hoping that there would be redeeming ratios to counter-act this incredible lack of power, again Tacoma lookers are let down. First gear is a weenie 2.826/2.804. So - to recap: 142hp, 160ft-lbs tq, 2,800 lbs, and 2.826 1st ratio...
AcumenII: The tacoma was pretty much designed to be a reasonable answer to a low-cost utility truck. It does what it needs to do but not much more
AcumenII: If you want to call that fast, be my guest... I'll just stick to my 396 Chevelle SS ;-)
