Dear Chase Anderson,
Your June 12, 2006 LSAT score is 169. The percentile rank is 97.
This puts me well within range of most of the places I want to go. As always, Harvard is still a reach. UW Law, the region's top school, is almost a sure bet.

your outside stuff will get you into harvard if that's where you really want to go -- community activism, volunteer work, recommendations from alumni, judges or prominent lawyers, etc. it's all about the special sauce with the ivies, so start workin' it!

I really want into Columbia so badly. If I continue to get straight As, I'll end up with a 3.82 - 3.88 GPA. I need to take the LSAT, but I'm going to kill myself studying first.
What preparation methods did you use?

My gpa is sort of complicated -- I've done most of my work at Trinity (3.83) and a CC before that (3.86), but if the minimal college stuff I did when I was 16 (something like a 3.0 because of two 0.0's) is given much weight, it's going to suck. Hopefully not -- it's so far gone that I usually don't even remember it.
Columbia looks like a great school -- I hope you get in. What are you interested in and what makes that your #1? As for the LSAT prep, I shunned the zillion-dollar prep classes and bought two books, one on logic games and one of real tests (the main one I used).
