I've been rather skeptical of the Voldemort-Harry-horcrux notion, but this one I like a lot; it's subtle and brilliant, and really, something needs to account for the number of times we've been told about Harry eyes.

Yes, it keeps coming up. It's such a definite statement, also. He's told he's "just like" or, once, "not really like" James, but it was flat out stated he had his mother's eyes.
You know, I'm sure I've read at least a few blinded!Harry stories, but I don't really remember them either. I do remember one with a blinded!Draco that was probably on ff.net.
I think I'm fishing more for the "hero has a great personal loss" angle, and the aftermath of that, anyway.
Same old same old. Still on "pending" with FEMA. Doesn't look as if I'll have a place to live until sometime next year. On the other hand, I now have wireless internet access (I set up two laptops on the boss's home network this morning; have one laptop and a desktop to go).
I like this theory and it will give me something to ponder over when I'm bored at work today. As soon as everyone finished HBP and starting screaming that Harry just had to be horcrux I just stared at them. For me, it makes really no sense.
The Hero always looses something.
Once upon a time, Frodo had ten fingers.
Had to be mentioned- I snorted cranberry juice up my nose.

*grins* Sorry for that. Hope it didn't burn too badly.
If your ponderings are productive, please stop back and let me know.
