oh no! what's seth's punishment? yikes! i loved how in part 1-b, seth slammed the door. totally something that i would do. i really liked this because i kept wondering throughout the show why on earth sandy wasn't at the hospital with ryan and seth. i thought you filled the gap really well. great work.

OMG!!! The start of his paper! *headdesk* He STILL doesn't get it! God, you've got your finger on the pulse of everything that was The OC! I couldn't believe NO ONE said a word when Ryan basically jumped in front of the gun that Donnie was holding!

Honestly, I'm speechless. Granted, you couldn't tell that by my incessant rambling that was seen above. ;) Honestly, the Cohens have their work cut out for them!

AMAZING writing, hun! Just simply amazing. I do hope you continue this. Because honestly, the start of the paper damn near ripped my heart out.

I'm with you on the *headdesk*. Ryan's sense of self-worth was always so stunted (thank you ma and pa Atwood) it hurt.

Thank you very much for your lovely feedback!

Same exact reaction as nightrider: if I get where you're going, it will be a long hard road for the Cohens to convince him that he comes first.

But Sandy is going to have to realize that Ryan has never had an adult in his recent past who he could trust. He had no 'go-to' person. He had only himself and his wits to rely upon.

As always, chase...fabulous work!

You're right about the problems the Cohens face -- Ryan has no concept that his life has value in and of itself. On the show, I'm not sure the Cohens ever understood that (because I'm not sure TPTB ever understood the complexity of their own character) and it always bothered me.

Many thanks!

Echoing comments above. A great way to get Ryan to express what he thinks and feels. Loving your story. Hugs

Somebody else might get hurt.

Oh Ryan, you're going to be writing this paper for a very, very long time.

*le sigh* - thanks for this.
It was awesome

Poor Ryan. He just doesn't get it, but at least this time around Sandy and Kirsten will see that he doesn't get it.

Thank you.
