[Surprise! James is grinning, because he has massive eagle wings. He's spreading them experimentally, and while his back is extraordinarily sore, he doesn't seem to mind all that much. [Merlin was just talking about flying with Remus a few days ago - he's ELATED.]

Mmhm, just watch out for tree branches. [If you look closely, you can still see a few leaves caught in his hair. His large black dragon's wings flap eagerly to punctuate his excitement, the bottom tip of one almost smacking right into the little miniature dragon at his heels, which skitters out of the way and proceeds to scold Merlin quite firmly in squeaks and growls.] Oh, leave me alone, I've only just gotten them, Bran.

I don't know if yours are strong enough...you haven't got feathered bird wings like mine. More importantly, would you be able to fly without running into anything?

Humnnn.... I should at least try. It'd be a shame to waste the chance and always think back, wondering, saying 'if only if only.'

I won't have any trouble in the air, except perhaps with trees.

[The video shows a middle-aged woman who is also sporting a (much smaller and more manageable sized) pair of eagle wings.] I'm not sure that's entirely wise. Eagles usually launch from quite high--and if they didn't work, it would be quite a problem.
