Today has been nice. A very nice day for me.
Madam Hooch gave me some new brooms to charm. They aren't really much better than the old ones, but they are quite sturdier. As you already know, brooms already come charmed, thing is, with the school budget and all, when we get them they have limited charms. It's much more efficient to charm them ourselves I guess. I doubt our safety charms will do much good if someone pulls a Neville Longbottom (no offence Nev) and falls a great deal from the ground. Quidditch is and will continue, if the game is going to any good, to be a dangerous sport. Many First years don't seem to grasp that. Well, they will when they break something for the first time.
Anyway, Madam Hooch being the strange romantic that she is gave me this book called "Chasers at Odds". I was very uncomfortable when she gave it to me and said, "Chasers never chase other Chasers." I wonder did Dumbledore know he paired me to work with a hopeless romantic? Probably did, derange geezer.
She encourages me to go out with Taylor whenever she can spare me. It's funny really, I'm getting paid to do a little this and a little that, plus I get to snog my deliciously handsome boyfriend. I have no idea though what I'll be doing after this job ends. I love Quidditch but I don't think I could deal with the hub-bub around it. People can hardly keep from snapping pictures of Taylor and me when we go.
Katie got me caught up on her and Oliver and frankly I'm shocked. I can't believe I missed out on so much while I was on 'vacation' with Taylor. But everything, well almost, everything seems to be fine now.
Today a first year got cheeky with me. What's up with these cheeky little bastards? They becoming more and more often in the years and it's annoying me. He saw all the little passion marks Taylor left behind and said it looked as if I been attacked in a broomcloset. I let the little wanker fall when he was in the air. Luckily, Madam Hooch didn't see it. He he he. Guess I'll see everyone later. Off to Hogsmeade.
