The storm that came and went was certainly bizarre, as it seemed to come out of nowhere. I hope no one was hurt of whom I speak to on here, the network. I've spent time trying to heal as many as I can, but... my abilities really have diminished significantly. I've focused so much time and energy on becoming physically stronger that I've allowed

I've some experience using Cure materia, though I'm not entirely sure how it compares to your abilities.

Materia? How does that work?

I'm not particularly well-versed in magical theory, so I can't give you the exact details, but materia is a form of crystalized energy found in my world. You activate it using your own energy - the strength of the resulting spell is a product of both the strength of the materia and your own magical aptitude. My own is middling at best, so I tend not to rely heavily on spells, but I do use them occasionally.

That sounds sort of like the spheres we use to help amplify our abilities!

In the sense that it heals, yes. Though it can be quite dangerous depending on what spell you use, and what kind of creature it's being used on. Believe it or not, there are some fiends who can perish with a powerful Curaga spell!

Unfortunately. I hear there... were some deaths as well.

Yeah! I know healers. This is so weird. I wish I had them here even. I think they would know what is going on. But they are more off witches, really, then healers. White witches though!
