I'm confused... there are so many people upset by this forced clothing situation? It seems as though it's not so bad. Everyone could be dressed as mascots?

I'm not familiar with a "moogle", but I can see how a costume might be cumbersome. From what I've seen, everyone would rather have some other clothing than whatever they've been stuck with.
