I really couldn't have asked for a better day(s). Having her overnight was really a treat. She's SOooo sweet first thing in the morning... actually, all the time. The only time she fusses is if she's hungry or just downright tired of being in her carseat. She definitely has her daddy's personality; laid back and always smiling and happy.

I'm glad you enjoyed the post! Sometimes I wonder if anyone other than you even reads this thing anymore. Oh well, even if they don't, it's for ME!!

The calamari was absolutely delicious! Not tough or chewy like some places...Olive Garden, for example. Theirs can sometimes be pretty tough. This was real thick and so tender it would melt in your mouth. No fishy taste, either. Just the sweet, tender meat of the squid. Yuuuummmm! Try it sometime. You'd be surprised. :)

Awww.. she's such a doll in her photos, and then to hear how she is so laid back and a happy lil girl you are one lucky grandma! :D

I always enjoy your posts. Lately when you have the sweet pea your posts are full of love for her and it's so nice to read them. Hey, I even enjoy your rants, you're just a wonderful person to know :)

Ok.. trying to envision in my mind.. sweet, tender.. meat.. of.the.squid. Right there see, my mind goes ACK! Runaway! hehehee. I'll try it someday, I hope it's somewhere that cooks it as well as you had it. I'll remember to NOT try it at Olive Garden.. honestly there's a lot there that I don't like.. seems I've had one bad (well, semibad) meal there after another.

Anyway yes, our journals are for Us.. I kind of know which friends of mine read my posts and which don't but then one will surprise me and have actually been reading all along! :) that's kind of nice :)

Oh! I did! Just having her was enough for me. She's such a joy. Being a Mom is one thing... but a grandma is beyond words!
