Can't people take get their blood back? Would there be a way? I mean if organs can be repossessed... They didn't want to give it. What would happen if they tried? It's so hard to tell whether or not the deities are telling the truth. The train never went anywhere. Maybe that's a good thing

It wouldn't do them any good to get their blood back. I'm more worried about why the City needs it. The fliers imply that, somehow, the blood sacrifice will delay the end of worlds... as if the City runs on blood...
