Can't people take get their blood back? Would there be a way? I mean if organs can be repossessed... They didn't want to give it. What would happen if they tried? It wouldn't do them any good to get their blood back. I'm more worried about why the City needs it. The fliers imply that, somehow, the blood sacrifice will delay the end of worlds... as if the City runs on blood...

Nothing they say can be accepted as truth, but it would add credibility to the idea that the clock is connected to the end of worlds.
